The aim of DB IGACT is to provide the young, a holistic formation through a professional training. The institute imparts to the students sound education in Printing, Web Technology and various branches of Graphics Arts – in theory and practice. We strive to form the students into upright and convinced persons, capable of fulfilling their obligations towards self, God and the Society with due emphasis to discipline, virtue, knowledge and art.

Rev Fr PhilipThayil sdb, a humble and unassuming Salesian, loved dearly Don Bosco and his mission. In unstinted dedication to the welfare of youth and the common people he ventured boldly into hitherto unbeaten paths, leaving his specific footprint in the fields of media and communication, printing and publication, traditional Kerala performing arts, culture and music. A visionary and a multi-faceted innovator, he dreamt the impossible and stopped at nothing he deemed would contribute to the future of youth and the creative proclamation of the Gospel.
